The Sound of Alignment: David’s Harp and the Heart of the Cross

Graphic for The Gathering featuring Leah Ramirez and the message title “The Sound of Alignment: From David’s Harp to the Heart of the Cross,” dated February 22, 2026.

What if “stillness” isn’t inactivity—but perfect agreement? David’s harp, Psalm 22, and the cross invite us into alignment with the Father’s heart

Many of us are spiritually exhausted because we’ve been “toiling all night”—fighting sin like a verb instead of receiving identity like a gift. In John 21, resurrection dawn changes everything: Jesus meets the disciples with a finished breakfast, a restored heart, and an unbroken net. This is an invitation out of striving and into union—where Christ’s life becomes our life.

God in the Flesh — And What That Means for Us Today

Minimalist image with ancient, sacred tones and soft light illuminating the quote: ‘He became what we are, that we might become what He is.’ —Athanasius. The graphic evokes the mystery of the Incarnation and divine participation in human form.

What the incarnation reveals about God, about us, and how we live in union with Christ. At The Gathering, we’re still at the beginning of our journey—and honestly, that feels sacred. There’s something holy about starting fresh, especially when the invitation is to go deeper than we’ve ever gone before. Last Sunday, I shared a […]

Jesus didn’t come merely to save us from something — He came to restore us to Someone. In this message, Leah Ramirez unpacks the Gospel of Union, drawing from Colossians 1, Hebrews 9, and Philippians 2 to reveal the breathtaking truth: we are not just forgiven, we are included. Christ didn’t just stand in for us — He brought us into Himself. This isn’t just theology. It’s transformation.
