Faith That Transforms the Heart

A figure walking along a mountain path at sunrise with warm golden light breaking through the clouds, with text reading “Faith That Transforms the Heart: Trusting Jesus Until His Life Is Formed in Us.”

Faith in Jesus is more than believing the right things. In Matthew 5, Jesus shows us what a surrendered life begins to look like: humility, mercy, purity, peacemaking, and a heart being transformed until His life is formed in us.

In Genesis, the serpent’s temptation was not merely to eat forbidden fruit. It was the suggestion that God was withholding life. But in Jesus, we see the truth: life cannot be seized, love cannot be stolen, and union cannot be forced. It can only be given and received.

The Disciple Jesus Loves: How John’s Gaze Outlasted Peter’s Vows

Leah Ramirez beside the sermon title “The Disciple Jesus Loves” for The Gathering in Colorado Springs

At The Gathering in Colorado Springs, we explored the difference between striving like Peter and beholding like John. True discipleship isn’t fueled by determination but by fascination—remaining near Jesus through every season.

At The Gathering, a Colorado Springs church, we discovered that promises are conceived in joy, not striving. From Sarah’s laughter to our own Table & Thread weekend, God is calling us into union, neighbor love, and a new way of serving our city together.

Living From Within: The Reign of Indwelling Christ

Youtube thumbnail of title with Chris Berglund

In this powerful message, Chris Berglund calls us out of outward forms and into the indwelling reign of Christ. It’s not about shadows—it’s about substance. The inward life of Jesus is now our daily reality. Step out of religious performance and into the fullness of abiding union.

At our last Grove gathering, we heard a powerful prophetic teaching from Melanie Taylor on the spiritual assault of “dis” — disappointment, distrust, discouragement — and God’s invitation to walk together in true unity and healing. This is a call to reject division and be re-mantled for a new season.
