Chris spoke about the shift from assignment-based prayer to building Sabbath altars—places of rest, communion, and face-to-face union with Jesus.

“The Sabbath altar isn’t passive,” he said. “It’s the strength of surrender. It’s where we stop striving and let the Lord initiate His own activity.”

These Sabbath altars are not about more activity—they’re about deep union.

• We take communion together.
• We pray the Lord’s Prayer.
• We wait in stillness, trusting the Lord to speak and reveal Himself.

This isn’t just theory—it’s the heart of what it means to be the church: to be a living expression of Jesus.

“The measure of the church is not what we do,” Chris shared. “It’s how much of Christ is living through us.”

This message is especially for anyone who feels weary from striving or burned out from religion. Chris reminded us that the cross was never just about cleaning us up—it was about making a way for Christ to live fully in us, as the seed of His life grows into a corporate body of His glory.
