This past Sunday, we celebrated Resurrection Sunday together at The Gathering in Colorado Springs — and it was one of the most beautiful mornings we’ve experienced as a church family.

The room was full of joy, worship, and so many new faces. We were thrilled to welcome several first-time visitors into our community. One of the things that makes The Gathering special is how intentionally our people connect — slowing down, noticing, welcoming. It’s never easy walking into a new place, but at The Gathering, you’ll find a family who makes it look easy.

Reflections from Resurrection Sunday

Chris Berglund shared a powerful Resurrection Sunday message reminding us that the Resurrection is not just a historical event — it’s a present reality we live from.

When Jesus rose from the dead, He wasn’t only showing His power over death; He was launching a new humanity — a people who are joined to Him, alive in His life, no longer separated from the Father.

At The Gathering, we believe the Gospel is not about striving harder or performing better.
It’s about waking up to the finished work of Christ.

We are not waiting to be resurrected.
We are already alive in Him.

Reflection questions to consider:

• Am I living like resurrection life is available to me right now?
  
• Where have I fallen back into striving instead of living from union?
  
• Who can I reach out to this week to encourage them in the truth of their inclusion in Christ?
