Something is stirring in Colorado Springs. It’s quiet—but it’s real. And it’s rooted in covenant.

This past Sunday at The Gathering, I shared a message called “Woven for Glory”—a word that’s still working its way through my heart. It came from a prophetic dream shared by Chris Berglund and points toward what God is doing in our city, in His Church, and even in His covenant with Israel.

A New Foundation Is Being Laid

Many of us in this city know what it feels like to walk through disappointment. Scandal, betrayal, and disillusionment have left a residue over our region. In conversation after conversation, the same word keeps surfacing: disappointment.

But what if disappointment isn’t just sadness?
What if it’s being dis-appointed—pushed out of your divine assignment?

I believe God is circling back to Colorado Springs, not to rebuild what once was, but to restore something older, deeper, and better. A covenant family. A communion-centered church. A people who carry His heart for Israel and the nations—starting right here in our own neighborhoods.

A Prophetic Dream: What’s Being Woven Here?

In a dream shared by Chris Berglund, Lou Engle and a team were watching a Master Weaver crafting a garment on a loom. The threads?
Song of Solomon 8. 1 Kings 18. Isaiah 49.
Each was inlaid with a scarlet thread—Christ at the center of every covenant.

We weren’t allowed to see the final product. Why? Because the weaving could only happen at the speed of surrender. At the pace of inward transformation. At the depth of union with Christ.

Then came a line that still stops me:
“Goliath’s weaver’s beam had no chance against this woven covenant.”

For those unfamiliar, Goliath’s spear was described in 1 Samuel 17 as “like a weaver’s beam”—a weapon of enormous size. It symbolizes the strongholds and spiritual intimidation that loom over cities and regions.

But in the dream, the Master Weaver was crafting something stronger. Something rooted in covenant. And Goliath? No chance.

Colorado Springs and the Heart of God for Regions

God is restoring covenant—not just individually, but regionally. And He’s doing it here.

This message isn’t just theoretical. We’re seeing it play out on the ground at The Gathering, a new church meeting weekly in Colorado Springs. We’re not rushing growth—we’re learning to build slowly, in love, in family, and in communion. Because this city doesn’t need another program. It needs a people.

A people who know how to sit at the table in the presence of their enemies (Psalm 23).
A people who know how to weep over their region the way Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 13).
A people who say, “We will not live disappointed—we will walk in our appointment.”
